Blingy 411: I am extremly excited to announce that I have a new member to the Bling Radio Show family! l was blessed to meet this beautiful soul when I went home for a speaking engagement in early March at my alma mater, Illinois Media School in Lombard, Illinois. She was the only one out of 45 students I spoke to that kept in contact with me. Kristina has so much talent and I am excited to have her on board as the Bling Radio Chicago Rep and my eyes for Chi-Town. Krissy J has her own radio show and she's an aspiring journalist who's just as driven and ambitious as I was when I was in broadcasting school. When I am unable to attend and cover major events in my hometown Chicago, Krissy J will be the face in the place! Get used hearing her name and seeing her face around there! Krissy J, born Kristina Janelle, is an up & coming on air radio personality & journalist straight out of the Midwest. She was raised in Joliet, IL but now lives in the Chicagoland area. Communication & media has always been a passion for Krissy J. As a young girl she would use an old school tape recorder to voice over short stories for her family.
 She attended Joliet public school and graduated from Joliet Township Central in 2007. In high school Krissy co-hosted the school’s SNN broadcasting station. She went on to study business administration at Colorado Technical Institute where she landed a job in marketing for the South Shore Drill Team in Chicago. While marketing brought Krissy experience in the industry she still felt she needed to do more.  After exploring career choices Krissy decided to study film & radio broadcasting at Illinois Media School where she found her niche in radio. Krissy J now hosts her own radio show (Krissy’s Corner) on Evolution Pop powered by Illinois Media School every Friday from 3-4pm. Radio is life & Krissy J has finally found her place in the industry!
Krissy began writing as a journalist for Coffea Magazine, an entrepreneur lifestyle magazine, based out of Chicago in 2019. With a passion for truth, knowledge, & sweet tea Krissy J shares inspirational vlogs on her Instagram page @1Krissyj. Some of Krissy’s interests include shopping, cooking, spending time with family, & dishing the tea on celebrities. ​People have been asking me, "Miss Bling or Blingy, what is BlingVember?" BlingVember is actually November in Bling's world! Blingvember is considered my official month to go into Blingy Hibernation Mode which I start fading to Black... or should I say fading to Bling after my Blingy Birthday! Yes, it's about that time y'all! I'll be on the scene at a minimum, but still keeping up updated on what's going on through my reliable sources from across the nation!

​I'm sitting in the HBO Headquarters... Home Blingy Office thinking about a lot of things! How can I switch this up? When should I do this or that? Who would I add to the Bling Team this or next year? What would be the new addition to my brand? Well, I have a lot going on and I was reminded that anythings in the arts helps to relax me. Writing, Painting, Recording my vocals, Interviewing amazing people and singing are some of my favorite things to do. I will be writing more often. The original Bling Radio Show blog from 2008 was full of excitement! I was traveling and writing reviews about everything I've experience in the entertainment world.

Today, it hit me! My re-vision for the blingtastic blog is so clear! No schedule! No limits! No genre! Just pure uncut blogging and vlogging! Are you ready???...  If you are not ready, I'm giving you a heads up! I will start writing between once a week to once a day. It's a lot that goes on in my day that I can share with you! The year is almost over and the end of the fourth quarter is near... What are your plans for 2017? Have you even started to plan for 2017 yet? I have some amazing things in store! Your Blingy Konfident Radio Diva is back! It's been almost 2 years since I wrote anything here. Ive been writing in my journal but I miss expressing myself with my Bling Radio Family!  The break was much needed, but it's over now! No more lacking! It's about to be an interesting & blingtastic ride! I've started taking courses to be a Certified Life Coach, Im just about finished and I'm very excited about this journey! As of today, Feb. 1st 2015 I will continue to spread love and positivity through my words and thoughts. 

  You will be able to feel the words I write in my blogs come off of your laptops and phone screens. You will be able to envision the photos I post as if you were there! You will be able to smell the food that I post. Dance with me as I play the music.... You can live vicariously through me because I will be doing food reviews, business reviews, music reviews, and traveling covering events that I always wanted to cover this year from Huntsville, Alabama to the other side of this country!

  Im going to do a tour of Huntsville because everyone keep asking me what is here and why am I here. Im here because this is where GOD has led me to be. I promise its all him because Im a City girl from the Westside of Chicago and I never question the Lord because he has never failed me and being here has been life changing and some of the best days of my life!
